Why Do my Forms need to be notarized?

It is important that you sign your lien as a person with factual knowledge. Other lien services and/or consultants offer the “convenience” of signing your lien on your behalf. Don’t be fooled into taking this short cut. If someone else signs your lien, it creates the possibility that the lien can be challenged, and in some cases, discharged and dismissed altogether.
